Yes. PosterBay MakerHub is a rapid-prototyping studio in Bengaluru that 3D prints functional prototypes for hardware startups and product teams. Send a CAD file or a sketch, and you get a physical part back in 2 to 5 days. There is no minimum order — single prototypes are welcome.

PrototypingWhat is the minimum order quantity for 3D printing at PosterBay MakerHub?

There is no minimum order quantity. PosterBay MakerHub prints single prototypes as readily as batches of 500. This is the main difference from injection moulding or contract manufacturing, where minimum orders typically start at 1,000 units and make early-stage validation impractical.

PrototypingCan you help with small-batch manufacturing, not just prototypes?

Yes. PosterBay MakerHub runs small production batches from 10 to 500 units for startups shipping to early customers, pilot programmes, or crowdfunding backers. Print-on-demand production means you order only what you need, which avoids holding unsold inventory before demand is proven.

Files and materialsWhat file format should I send for 3D printing?

Send a STEP file if your design is still changing, and an STL file if it is final. STEP files preserve editable dimensions, so a hole size or wall thickness can be adjusted in seconds. If you have no CAD file, send a sketch with dimensions and the model can be built for you.

Files and materialsAre 3D printed parts strong enough for real use?

Yes, when designed and oriented correctly. Printed parts are strongest across layers and weakest along them, so print orientation matters more than material choice for load-bearing parts. Every file is reviewed for wall thickness, orientation and stress points before printing.

Every PosterBay MakerHub product is made in-house at our own workshop in Bengaluru, India. Nothing is outsourced and nothing is imported ready-made. Items are printed or produced only after you order, which is why there is no minimum order quantity and no held stock.

Orders and deliveryHow much does shipping cost?

Shipping is free on orders above ₹499 anywhere in India. Below that, the cost is calculated by your pin code and order weight, and shown in full at checkout before you pay. PosterBay MakerHub ships to all serviceable pin codes across India from Bengaluru.
